Welcome to Whitby Surf School
Looking out over the gold sand and rolling waves of Whitby beach, Whitby Surf School is the ideal place to learn to surf in the North East. Our blue flagged, award winning beach provides perfect
conditions to dive headfirst into a thrilling and adrenaline-pumping experience in the North Sea.
Whether your first-time surfing at Whitby or looking for some extra tuition before you take to heading out on your own, our fully qualified instructors are passionate about making the session as
fun and exciting as it can be.
We also provide a wide range of quality surf and beach equipment to hire, so you can take full
advantage of the North Sea and everything our beach has to offer.
*** Our last day of the 2025 season is Saturday 18th October, We will be reopening in March 2026 ***
